ESPN/BASS Elite
Series – The
Blue Ridge Brawl
The BASS Elite Series features the top pro anglers in the world
and is the most prestigious fishing tournament
in terms of national exposure ever hosted at Smith Mountain Lake.
In addition to the tournament, the Elite also
features an Outdoor Expo showcase that highlights premier and supporting
sponsors of BASS with additional
attractions such as the EXPNXPERIENCE truck (seen at the X Games).
The tournament will be shown to
ESPN’s national audience through a one-hour special dedicated
to the tournament. The Elite Series will be the
first ESPN original programming to originate from Smith Mountain
Lake. The location for the tournament
headquarters, Outdoors EXPO, and weigh-in site will be announced
